Hi! My name is Abby Coe, and I graduated from Clark University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Community, Youth, and Education Studies and a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
I am an aspiring school-based social worker with experience supporting children and adolescents across early childhood, elementary, and secondary school settings. My work is grounded in social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, and youth advocacy, with a strong emphasis on building supportive, relationship-centered environments where young people feel seen, heard, and respected.
During my time at Clark, I was actively involved in peer education through Choices, the university’s sexual health organization, where I contributed to educator training and helped facilitate inclusive, consent-based learning spaces. Across my academic and professional experiences, I developed a strong interest in how care, trust, and accessibility shape meaningful educational environments.
Outside of my academic and professional work, I love horror, whether I’m watching, talking about, or writing about it. Some of my favorite films include Scream (1996), American Psycho, and Saw, and I’m especially interested in how horror connects to culture and identity. I also love cooking, playing board games, and spending time with friends, things that bring a sense of balance and joy outside of my work.
