Three Theories of Understanding

This collection brings together my three theories of understanding I originally wrote in May 2025 as part of my Praxis coursework: a critical theory of social inequality, a theory of social change, and a reflection on positionality and identity. While I had the option to revise these pieces, I chose instead to honor the thinking I was doing at that time. Rather than rewriting them, I have added a brief addendum to each theory to reflect how my ideas have evolved over the past year, along with a concluding reflection that ties the pieces together. This approach allows the work to hold both continuity and change, preserving what felt true then while making space for what has shifted since.
